she appreciated that he thought he was saving her...
saving her from some sort of heart-ache.
but, such an abrupt ending?
that's not what she wanted, or asked for, or hoped would happen - not at all.
nor did he, she trusted.
but their beginning saw an end before a beginning began.
and to that end,
in the end he was the one who needed saving to begin with.
